On Saturday, December 14, for the first time ever, 450 Brooklyn Youth
Chorus singers, ranging in age from 7 to 21, will share the stage at
Brooklyn College's Walt Whitman Theater for two spirited performances of
an all-new Holiday Harmonies. Comprising works ranging from Benjamin
Britten's "Ceremony of Carols" to a new BYC commission by Pulitzer
Prize-winning composer Caroline Shaw, to jazz standards such as Ella
Fitzgerald's "Savoy", to traditional African songs, this family-friendly
concert is destined to become Brooklyn's new holiday music tradition.
Let our holiday spirit move you as all six BYC ensembles spread good
will through song at this festive choral celebration. Brooklyn Youth Chorus
> SaveMor Digital Printing provided the event program.
